Application for funding
From the membership fees collected, we can redistribute some of the funds back into community projects, programs and other school related activities. In accordance with the Charter of our Association, § 2 section 3, funds may only be granted if public support cannot be claimed/obtained or is insufficient.
We are aware that there are many projects, activities and maintenance issues that require perhaps a little more attention or funding to get it started or to have it completed.
If you require funding for sports activities/equipments, craft materials, field trips etc., we encourage you to apply for our funding. However, please first approach the associated class/es's parents and the School Principal, to ensure that funding cannot be obtained through these avenues.
We endeavour to create a fair and transparent process to allocate and redistribute funds, as long as the Friends of the Quentin-Blake Europe School e.V. Charter requirements are fulfilled.
Funding request procedure
There are two funding request forms available:
Request for funding application form (up to 200 €)
Request for funding application form (over 200 €)
In the forms we ask for details about the planned project/activities, who in the school´s community benefits from it and how much it would cost to implement these plans.

They can be sent to us via post, email or through the School Secretary
For applications under 200 €, the Förderverein Board must first pre-approve the proposal to see whether it can proceed. When the proposal meets all the charter requirements, it will be displayed on the notice board and on our website (without your personal data) for one week. Members have this one week to oppose to the proposal or raise any concerns and issues they have to the Board.
For applications over 200 €, the Förderverein Board must first pre-approve the proposal to see whether it can proceed. When the proposal meets all the Charter requirements, it will then be displayed on the notice board and on our website (without your personal data) for at least two weeks prior to a General Meeting. After this time, the proposal will be put to a vote by the members in the next General Meeting designated by the Board
For applications over 200 €, there is a requirement of obtaining several different quotes. The applicant has to prove, that investigative work has been done and all available avenues have been explored, and that the service/item can be attained at the most cost effective price.
We will consider all applications received.
Only members of the ''Friends of the Quentin-Blake Europe School e.V.'' are entitled to vote and so take part on the decision making process.

Finanzielle
Förderung von Schulprojekten
Von Ihren Mitgliedsbeiträgen können neben den Mitteln für die English library und das native-speaker-Programm auch Gelder für Projekte, Ausflüge und Anschaffungen bereitgestellt werden. Nach § 2 Abs. 3 unserer Satzung dürfen Mittel jedoch nur vergeben werden, wenn eine öffentliche Förderung nicht oder nicht ausreichend beansprucht werden kann.
Wir gehen davon aus, dass viele Dinde an unserer Schule nur einen kleinen Anstoß brauchen, um die Schule, ihre Einrichtungen und Angebote attraktiver zu machen.
Wenn
Sie Material zum Basteln, Sportausrüstungen oder Geld für
Ausflüge, für Instandhaltungsmaßnahmen o.ä. für
Ihre Klasse benötigen, dann wenden Sie sich bitte an den
Förderverein. In jedem Fall sollten Sie vorher jedoch sowohl die
Eltern der profitierenden Klassen (Klassenkasse) und die Schulleitung
um finanzielle Unterstützung gebeten haben.
Wir möchten die Mitgliedsbeiträge gerecht und transparent für solche Projekte zur Verfügung stellen, die nach unserer Vereinssatzung gefördert werden dürfen.
Förderungsanträge
Wir stellen Ihnen zwei Antragsformulare zur Verfügung:
Antrag auf einen Förderungsbetrag bis 200 €
Antrag auf einen Förderungsbetrag über 200 €
In den Antragsformularen bitten wir Sie um Angaben zu dem geplanten Projekt, wer bzw. welche Klassen davon profitieren werden und wieviel Geld dafür benötigt wird.

Bitte reichen Sie die Anträge beim Schulsekretariat ein oder senden Sie sie uns per Post/email.
Bei Förderungsbeträgen bis 200 €, wird vom Vorstand zunächst geprüft, ob die Voraussetzungen zur Förderung gem. unserer Satzung überhaupt vorliegen. Erst dann wird der Antrag an unserem Infobrett und auf unserer website (ohne Ihre persönlichen Angaben) veröffentlicht. Binnen einer Woche können dann alle Mitglieder Einwände gegen das Projekt erheben.
Bei Förderungsanträgen über 200 €,wird vom Vorstand zunächst geprüft, ob die Voraussetzungen zur Förderung gem. unserer Satzung überhaupt vorliegen. Erst dann wird der Antrag an unserem Infobrett und auf unserer website (ohne Ihre persönlichen Angaben) für mindestens zwei Wochen vor einer Mitgliederversammlung veröffentlicht. Auf der Mitgliederversammlung wird dann über die Förderung abgestimmt.
Bei Förderungsanträgen über 200 € bitten wir um drei Kostenvoranschläge verschiedener Anbieter.
Alle vollständigen Anträge werden berücksichtigt.
Nur Mitglieder des Fördervereins dürfen abstimmen und so am Entscheidungsprozess teilnehmen!
