Die konkreten Aufgaben des Fördervereins in der Schule
Der Förderverein macht einen wertvollen Beitrag zur Erziehung unserer Kinder, indem folgende Aufgaben übernommen oder unterstützt werden:
- Englischsprachige Nachmittagsbetreuung
- Englische Bibliothek
- Durchführung von AGs
- Betreuung des Computerraums
Jeder kann Mitglied werden und somit zum Bildungserfolg unserer Kinder beitragen. Die Mitgliedsbeiträge betragen:
- Für Familien mit einem Kind an der Schule 30€/ Monat
- Für Familien mit zwei und mehr Kindern an der Schule 35€/Monat
What is the Förderverein doing for us?
It organizes and pays for the English Native Speakers. Their role is to acquaint students with the English language and they especially support the German speaking educators during UEA-hours.
It pays for the school’s IT Support and maintenance including employing an extra IT specialist for the school
It pays the library staff and receives money back through the Library
It organizes and pays for ballet and hip-hop lessons to provide movement in the winter period
It pays for participation fees associated in taking part in the European Football (“Fußball Europacup der Europaschulen”)

It pays for participation fees associated in taking part in the Mini Grand Prix. (“Petit Grand Prix de la Chansons der Europaschulen”)
It makes producing the yearbook possible, by pre-financing and recuperates from the proceeds of the sales
It pre-finances the annual school musical, and recuperates the initial outlay if possible

It would possibly pre-finances the “Green for Schools - Garden project” and then will be reimbursed by already pledged financial support from “Grün macht Schule”
It would possibly proportionately pre-finances the calendar project of the European schools and recuperates from the proceeds
It pays for resources that the educators and Native Speakers needs for their projects
It pays for necessary purchases for classrooms, e.g. small furniture - bookshelves (up to 200, - €.) That must be publicly announced and agreed upon
It pays for major purchases for the school, e.g. smartboards, (after approval by members)
It gives out donation receipts for donated material and money (e.g. the Fun Run)
It manages the money on accounts and keeps records of expenditure, revenue, and all associated bookkeeping activities, e.g. earmarked donations/money
It listens to teachers and parents who want to start projects at the school
It helps at the Winter Fair through advertisement and ticket-sale
It supports the school celebrations, public events/appearances to promote a positive image of the school, on and outside the school premises
It maintains an up-to-date website with information about school events, projects, clubs (AGs), etc. and contact to the board of the Förderverein (www.friends-of-qbes.de)
It informs the school community about the activities of the Förderverein and the school through a current newsletter (via email and on the website)

Was tut der Förderverein für uns?
er organisiert und zahlt die Native Speaker. Ihre Aufgabe es ist, den Schülern das Englische näherzubringen, dabei helfen sie den deutschsprachigen Erziehern v.a. in den UEA-Stunden.
er bezahlt den IT-Supervisor für den Computerraum und die Schule
er zahlt die Library-Angestellten und erhält dafür teilweise Geld durch die Library zurück
er organisiert und zahlt für Ballet- und Hiphop-Stunden für die Bewegung auch im Winter
er zahlt für die Teilnahme am Fußball Europacup der Europaschulen
er zahlt für die Teilnahme am Petit Grand Prix de la Chanson der Europaschulen
er ermöglicht das Jahrbuch durch Vorfinanzierung und erhält dann die daraus resultierenden Einnahmen
er finanziert die jährliche Musicalaufführung vor und erhält dann die Gelder ggf. zurück
er finanziert u.U. das Gartenprojekt vor, dass dann durch bereits zugesagte Fördermittel (Grün macht Schule) zurückerstattet wird
er finanziert u.U. anteilig das Kalender-Projekt der Europaschulen vor, dass dann durch die Einnahmen wieder refinanziert werden soll
er zahlt für „Sachmittel“, die Erzieher oder Native Speaker für Ihre Projekte benötigen
er zahlt für notwendige Anschaffungen für Klassenräume (bis max. 200,-€), die öffentlich angekündigt und akzeptiert werden müssen
er gibt (aufgrund seiner anerkannten Gemeinnützigkeit) Spendenquittungen heraus, für Sachspenden, die Eltern an die Schule leisten und für Geldspenden (z.B. beim Fun Run)
er verwaltet das Geld auf Konten und führt Buch über Ausgaben, Einnahmen und über zweckgebundene Spenden
er zahlt für größere Anschaffungen für die Schule nach Bewilligung durch Mitglieder, z.B. Smartboards
er hat ein offenes Ohr für Lehrer und Eltern, die Projekte für die Schule starten möchten
er hilft beim Winterfair durch Werbung und den Ticket-Verkauf
er unterstützt Feiern und öffentliche Auftritte der Schule für ein positives Ansehen der Schule auch außerhalb des Schulgeländes
er unterhält eine Webseite, auf der aktuell berichtet wird und über die jeder mit dem Fördervereinsvorstand in Kontakt treten kann (www.friends-of-qbes.de)
er informiert durch einen aktuellen Newsletter (als Email und auf der Webseite), der die Aktivitäten des Fördervereins und das Leben an der Schule darstellt
